Friday I flew in a chopper for the first time in my life and that was fuuuun!! We had to take some pictures of the park and also determine where to place the future helicopter pad.
We took off from Tauranga Airport at 7 and it was almost like flying. I would think. We landed at the park 20 min later and picked Ric up. Off we went to see the park from above. Wow!! The landscape is absolutely amazing!! Although you don't get a feeling of how steep the hills are (that I learned Thursday!), you can still see how deep the gullies are.
A view over the park...

and future helicopter pad.
and future helicopter pad.
When they clear cut here in NZ it's not just 15 ha. No no...it's more like 300! It leaves the landscape very open and exposed. Almost like out of this world.
A clear cut. Well a bit of it. It's huuuuge...
After flying around for awhile we returned and dropped off Jarron, Julie (Jarron's wife) and me and picked up Holly, Fiona and Lilly. They went for a little ride and I think the girls had a fun time.
Ric, Holly and the girls taking off...
On our way home we flew over Papamoa with a great view to the Mount. The beach looks almost like the ones at home...
It was a bit hard gathering my thoughts after such a spectacular morning but I managed somehow...

Sikke nogle flotte billeder. Det giver en bedre forståelse af, hvordan det er der, hvor du er. Vildt spændende...
